Founder and Editor
Sheree Wynn is the founder and editor of Natural Girlies Magazine. She was building things for textured hair long before she started writing about it. Wynn Essentials, the hair care line she runs with her sisters Patricia and Karina, grew out of the wash days the three of them were raised on. She wrote Business Basics for Braiding Hair for braiders who are running an entire business out of a chair and rarely get treated like it. Hair Wellness Lab and Braid Boss Pro exist because she went looking for those tools, could not find them, and built them herself. She is working on a master's in health systems with a concentration in artificial intelligence. None of that makes her a dermatologist, and this magazine is never going to pretend otherwise. What it does mean is that every claim here traces back to peer reviewed research, and every study's limits get stated out loud: the small samples, the industry funding, the people the researchers did not include. If the evidence is thin, the article says so. She writes from Los Angeles.
